To search for books or videos in the SWIC Library, start in the Search Widget near the bottom of the Library Homepage. Click on the middle tab, Books & Movies. On the Books & Movies tab there is no search box. (See the Home tab in the left menu if you don't know how to find the Library Homepage.)
Click the word Search and a new tab opens on the Library Catalog page.
As you type, a dropdown offers you the choice to search either SWIC Library Catalog Only or All I-Share Libraries. (I-Share includes ALL academic libraries in the state of Illinois.)
To see only items available in the SWIC Library on a specific campus, in the left menu, select from the pull down list, Select My Campus Library.
If you don't find enough items available in SWIC Libraries, in the search box, pull down the arrow beside SWIC Library Catalog, and select All I-Share Libraries to search for material from other academic libraries in Illinois.
