What is an ethnography?

An ethnography is a detailed study of a specific group of people or culture, focusing on their behaviors, traditions, and interactions. Researchers immerse themselves in the community, often through observation and interviews, to understand the group's way of life from their perspective.

Explore countries in Global Road Warrior*

Discover insights about countries, including their culture, business practices, travel tips, and everyday living experiences.

As the graphic below demonstrates, there are two ways to search for other countries in this database:

Option 1: Click on the name of a country in the Select Country by List box on the right.

Option 2: Click on the country in the world map.

After selecting a country, a Country Overview page appears and is organized into these summaries:  Land/Geography/Regions, People and Culture, History, Climate and Biodiversity, Economy, and Government.

Four other features are worth noting:

                 1.  The name of your selected country appears on the left side of the page above the search topics.

                 2.  The current time and date at the country's capital city are posted.

                 3.  The current temperature at the capital is given in degrees Celsius and Fahrenheit.

                 4.  To change countries, click on the Select Another Country link near the top left corner of the page.
